OptionForge help center

Frequently asked questions about OptionForge.

Answers for Microsoft Store access, installation, platform boundaries, and support across the current OptionForge website.

Access and installation

Where do I download and update OptionForge?

Use the official Microsoft Store listing. Microsoft Store manages the free download, installation, Microsoft account flow where required, and app updates.

Is the current OptionForge release free?

Yes. The current public OptionForge app is free to download. The website does not sell an OptionForge subscription or collect payment-card details for the app.

What should I review before installing?

Check Features and Modules for product scope, System Requirements for device and Store readiness, and Release Notes for the current public release context.

Analytics, data, and brokerage boundaries

What does OptionForge help me analyze?

OptionForge connects strategy design, probability, payoff, Greeks, volatility, portfolio, stress, repair, and supported trade-preparation workflows. Results depend on the data, inputs, models, and assumptions selected.

Does OptionForge execute or hold my trades?

No. OptionForge is analytics and workflow software, not a broker, exchange, clearing firm, custodian, or investment adviser. A connected broker remains authoritative for order acceptance, routing, execution, fills, custody, statements, and official records.

Are market data and third-party services included?

Not universally. Supported workflows may require separate provider credentials, subscriptions, entitlements, connectivity, or fees. Availability and data quality remain subject to each provider.

Privacy, security, and support

Should I send credentials or sensitive account data to support?

No. Never email passwords, API secrets, brokerage credentials, payment-card details, recovery codes, or unnecessary account data. Redact screenshots and logs before sending them.

What information helps support investigate an issue?

Include the app version, Windows version, Store reference when relevant, affected page or module, steps to reproduce, expected versus actual result, and redacted screenshots or logs when useful.

Where can I review legal, privacy, and risk terms?

Open the Legal center for the EULA, privacy policy, terms, support policy, risk disclosure, market-data boundaries, and current free-release information.
