Page sections

No brokerage services

OptionForge is analytics and workflow software. It does not hold customer funds or securities, clear trades, custody assets, guarantee fills, provide margin loans, or act as a broker-dealer, exchange, or clearing firm. Where the Trade tab is connected to a supported third-party broker, OptionForge may transmit a user-authorized order after review; the broker remains responsible for acceptance, routing, execution, fills, custody, statements, and official records.

User responsibility

  • Users decide whether to trade, where to trade, what data to trust, what assumptions to use, and how to verify orders in their brokerage platform.
  • Users must verify margin, assignment risk, liquidity, tax impact, fees, corporate actions, ex-dividend dates, early exercise risk, and broker-specific rules.
  • OptionForge outputs can be wrong if inputs, market data, contracts, fees, volatility, dividends, borrow rates, or model assumptions are wrong.

Credential boundary

Users should not send broker passwords, session cookies, API secrets, seed phrases, private keys, or account recovery data to OptionForge support. Any future broker or data-provider integration must use user-controlled configuration and appropriate permission boundaries.

No fiduciary relationship

Use of OptionForge does not create an adviser-client, fiduciary, tax-adviser, broker, or custody relationship. Users should consult qualified professionals where needed.

These pages are publication-ready policy drafts for the current OptionForge release plan. Mandatory consumer rights, platform rules, and applicable law prevail where they cannot be waived. Qualified counsel should review before final public publication.

Trade tab and broker boundary

The Trade tab may transmit a user-authorized order to a supported third-party broker after the user reviews and confirms the order. OptionForge does not itself execute, clear, settle, custody, or make the broker's acceptance decision. The connected broker remains authoritative for account permissions, acceptance, routing, execution, fills, custody, statements, confirmations, and official broker records.
