Refund summary

The current public release of OptionForge is free to download from Microsoft Store. OptionForge does not operate a public app subscription or collect a software purchase price for this release, so there is normally no OptionForge app charge to refund. If a user sees an unexpected charge, the first step is to identify whether it came from Microsoft, a broker, a market-data provider, an exchange, a connectivity provider, or another third party.

OptionForge support can help confirm the current distribution model and troubleshoot app-side issues, but it cannot reverse a charge imposed by another provider.

Microsoft Store and platform charges

The current OptionForge Store release is intended to be free. If Microsoft Store displays an unexpected charge connected to the listing, verify the product, account, region, and Store transaction details and contact Microsoft Store support where appropriate. OptionForge does not collect payment-card numbers through this website.

No OptionForge trial or renewal charge

The current public release does not use an OptionForge paid trial that converts into a recurring subscription, and it does not have an OptionForge renewal charge. If a future distribution model changes, the website, Microsoft Store listing, Terms, EULA, and this policy should be updated before that model becomes active.

Separate written agreements

A separately negotiated enterprise, institutional, consulting, data, integration, or other written agreement—if one exists—is outside the current public free-app distribution model. Any fees, termination rights, service credits, or refunds under such an agreement are governed by that agreement and mandatory law.

Refund exclusions

  • Requests based only on market losses, trading outcomes, missed trades, price moves, tax outcomes, or investment performance.
  • Requests caused by user-entered assumptions, stale external data, broker differences, market-data provider interruptions, or strategy choices.
  • Requests involving abuse, fraud, chargeback misuse against a third party, package/security tampering, or violation of the EULA or Terms.
  • Requests for third-party costs such as broker fees, market-data fees, taxes, exchange fees, internet access, devices, or software/services not charged by OptionForge.

Product issues and evidence

For a product issue that may support a Store request or direct support review, send a concise report to [email protected]. Include the Store reference if available, app version, Windows version, screenshots, logs where useful, and exact steps to reproduce.

Support may troubleshoot the app-side issue and help identify the responsible provider, but OptionForge cannot approve or guarantee a refund for a charge imposed by another provider.

Mandatory rights

Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable refund, withdrawal, chargeback, warranty, consumer-protection, accessibility, or statutory rights that apply in the user’s location.
