Request types
Customers may contact support to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or additional information about personal data handled through website, support, diagnostics, licensing, or commercial records.
Some records may be controlled by Microsoft Store, payment providers, analytics providers, email providers, market-data services, or other external platforms. Those requests may also need to be made through the platform that controls the data.
How to submit
Email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request” or “Data Subject Request.” Include the email used for support, approximate date range, product interaction, and specific request type. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, brokerage credentials, private API keys, or identity documents by ordinary email.
Verification and limits
Reasonable identity verification may be required before records are disclosed, corrected, or deleted. Some records may be retained for security, fraud prevention, disputes, tax/accounting evidence, legal compliance, platform audit trails, or support-quality records.
