Current distribution model: OptionForge itself is free to download from Microsoft Store. OptionForge does not charge a subscription or purchase price for the current public release. This static page is part of the current OptionForge free-release legal/support package and is designed to remain directly reachable outside the React app shell.

Page sections

Scope

This page explains deletion paths for information associated with website use, support emails, user-submitted diagnostics, and local desktop app files.

Microsoft Store account, installation, regional, and platform records may be controlled by Microsoft. Any separate third-party broker/data-provider charge records remain with that provider and may need to be managed through that provider.

Local app data deletion

Project files, exports, settings, local logs, cached provider data, and user-generated files are normally stored on the user’s device or in user-selected folders.

Users can delete local files directly from their device. Deleting local files may remove app history, saved strategies, logs, settings, exports, and troubleshooting evidence.

Support and email records

Users may request deletion of support records by emailing [email protected] with “Deletion Request” in the subject line.

Some support records may be retained when needed for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal defense, tax, accounting, platform compliance, abuse prevention, or operational integrity.

Verification and timing

Deletion requests may require verification that the requester controls the email address or record being requested.

OptionForge should record request date, verification steps, response date, records deleted, records retained, and the lawful reason for any retention.

Limits

Deletion may not remove records from backups immediately. Backup deletion follows backup rotation, security, and disaster-recovery controls.

Deletion cannot remove information that a user independently provided to third parties, public forums, market-data providers, Microsoft, app stores, or other external services.
