Purpose
This page explains the account and access model for the current free OptionForge release, where download, installation, updates, regional availability, and Microsoft Store account access are handled through Microsoft Store and the user's Microsoft account experience.
Microsoft Store-managed access
OptionForge does not operate a separate website account system for public app access. The website provides product information, legal notices, support contact, and installation guidance. The current OptionForge release is free to download through Microsoft Store.
Store installation and access checks
The desktop app may check Microsoft Store installation/package state and supported platform conditions needed to start, update, or repair the app. The current public release does not require an OptionForge subscription or paid entitlement.
Device and update context
A Microsoft Store-installed app may depend on the Store, Windows, app package identity, supported Windows version, and network availability for installation, update, and repair operations.
Support information to include
When contacting support about access, include the app version, Windows version, Microsoft Store account context if relevant, screenshots of non-sensitive error messages, and the exact step that failed.
No password collection
Do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, government identity documents, recovery codes, private keys, or full account credentials to OptionForge support.
