Purpose and scope
This notice supplements the main Privacy Policy for users in Canada and Québec. It explains how OptionForge handles personal information in connection with the public website, support, diagnostics shared by the user, Microsoft Store access context, and product communications.
It should be read with the Privacy Policy, Data Security & Retention, Diagnostics & Logs, Data Subject Requests, Subprocessors & Service Providers, and Support Attachments & Log Redaction pages.
Accountability and contact
Privacy questions and requests should be sent to [email protected]. Include “Privacy Request” in the subject line and enough detail to identify the relevant support or website interaction.
OptionForge should keep a record of privacy requests, verification steps, response dates, and any lawful reason a request could not be fully completed.
Consent and reasonable purposes
OptionForge should collect, use, and disclose personal information only for reasonable product, website, support, security, licensing, legal, and business purposes.
Where consent is required, consent may be express or implied depending on the context. A user who sends logs or screenshots to support is choosing to provide that information for support review, but should still redact unnecessary secrets and sensitive account details.
Québec transparency points
For Québec users, this notice is intended to provide clear information about purposes, categories of information, service providers, retention, rights, and contact path.
If automated decisions or profiling materially affect a customer in the future, the policy package should be updated before launch of that feature.
Access, correction, withdrawal, and deletion
Users may request access to or correction of personal information reasonably associated with them. They may also request deletion or withdrawal of consent where required by applicable law and feasible for the record type.
Some records may need to be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, platform, dispute, or support-history reasons. Microsoft Store records may need to be requested from Microsoft directly when Microsoft controls the record.
Cross-border processing
Website hosting, email, analytics, security, Microsoft Store/platform services, support tooling, broker integrations, and market-data services may process information outside the user’s province or country. Privacy protections may vary by jurisdiction.
