Current distribution model: OptionForge itself is free to download from Microsoft Store. OptionForge does not charge a subscription or purchase price for the current public release. Third-party broker, market-data, exchange, connectivity, or other external-service charges may still apply under those providers' terms.

Desktop application model
OptionForge is a desktop software product. It may use local file access for project files, settings, exports, imports, diagnostics, chart resources, cache files, and app configuration.
The app may use network access for website links, Microsoft Store package/update checks, distribution context, support links, supported broker and market-data providers, analytics features initiated by the user, and documentation.

When distributed through Microsoft Store, installation, updates, package identity, regional availability, and Microsoft account/platform access may be controlled by Microsoft Store and Windows services. The current OptionForge release itself is free.
